Scientific Publications

This page provides an overview of my open-access research articles and preprints in archaeology, Egyptology, and archaeological–architectural analysis. All publications listed below are hosted on Zenodo, are openly accessible, and are identified by persistent DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers), ensuring long-term traceability and citability.

The works primarily address the Giza Plateau as a complex heritage landscape and focus on methodological and interpretive issues related to architectural constraints, spatial organization, functional analysis, metrology, and linguistic–cultural frameworks.

A central aspect of this research is the explicit definition of methodological limits and interpretive constraints, particularly in contexts where non-invasive data and interdisciplinary models are employed. The aim is not to advance alternative narratives, but to clarify how archaeological reasoning can be grounded in architectural and contextual evidence.

For an overview of my research orientation and methodological framework, see the Research Statement

Field Research & Methodology

My research adopts a non-invasive, archaeology-centered methodological framework, grounded in:

  • direct macroscopic observation of architectural features

  • spatial and structural analysis of monumental contexts

  • critical comparison with classical Egyptological documentation

  • exclusion-based functional analysis (functional exclusion methodology)

No invasive testing, excavation, or material sampling is performed.
Where applicable, revised versions supersede earlier drafts and are clearly indicated.

Methodological Note

The publications listed on this page are intended as documentary and analytical contributions to ongoing scholarly discussions.
They do not claim definitive or exhaustive interpretations, but aim to define architectural and methodological constraints within which functional and historical hypotheses must operate.

Updates and Versioning

This page is updated periodically as new research articles, revised versions, or methodological notes are published.
Each entry is referenced by a stable DOI to ensure transparency, citability, and long-term accessibility.
